SCOTT is featured on midi accordion. Scott also does vocals, as well as leading the band. Scott has been playing music since he was 9 years old, beginning on organ and piano. In the 1970's, he added the accordion, and immediately caught the ear of many top polka bands, including Frankie Yankovic. Scott traveled with Yankovic and was featured on his Grammy nominated album "One More Time." Scott is married to band manager Pam; they met in 1981 at a polka dance and were married in 1982. Scott's focus is to bring new music for all ages to every performance, as well as playing requests.
PAM is the manager and promoter for the band. Pam also plays maracas, tambourine, and other percussion instruments. She vocalizes with the group, as well as designing the unique musical program for each performance with Scott. Pam is an avid polka and ballroom dancer. She has taught polka dancing for many years. Pam also hosts a weekly radio segment on WJYI AM 1340 Milwaukee called "WHERE THE BANDS ARE" heard on the half-hour every Saturday morning for the last 25 years. Scott and Pam lived in the Milwaukee area for many years, but have made northern Wisconsin their home for the last 14 years. On the personal side, she and Scott have one 33 year old son, Steve who along with his wife Amelia, live and work in Madison WI.
FRANKIE is a life long musician in the polka business. Frankie is from the Park Falls, WI area. Frankie also performed with Frankie Yankovic for many years. Frankie promotes the polka business through a weekly radio show that he does. Frankie's style is versatile, with energetic polkas, 50's rock, country, swing, or smooth waltzes...his beat is #1. Frankie also adds his vocal stylings to the group.
